Without infiniMap, this wouldn't have been possible. Even with infiniMap, I had to compromise on texture quality to get it through. A top-down view is still rendering. The attached is just under half the resolution of the original render.

Buildings from Dystopia, 100 variants, each with baked textures (6 per object) to allow use in different applications. Baked textures converted to tiled EXRs and applied with infiniMap. That makes 600 textures, each at 2k resolution, and you can see the blurriness. 4k looks great, but uses enormous amounts of RAM even with infiniMap.
CityEngine used for the layout.
HDinstance used for the asset placement.
